Print

So I found this funky printed knit while shopping a couple of days back. The print resembles those old perfumes of yester years. I decided to pair it with some blue, Forever 21 shorts and grey , Charles and Keith ballerinas!!

Hope you like!! A 'Goodies' post is coming up soon!!!

Celebrity Inspired

I saw this look in a magazine a while back and I really , really liked it. The actress- Kalki Koechlin's upfront casual attire adds to her appeal. She is so effortless and like a breath of fresh air in the over - glamourous Indian Film Industry. I fortunately possessed the same shorts that she has on in the picture, only mine's a shade darker. Everyone posseses a basic , black t-shirt and black ballerinas so it wasn't really that hard to put together a similar look. I just avoided the hat and left my hair loose.

Shorts- Vero Moda, T-shirt - United Colors of Benetton, Shoes- United Colors of Benetton.

Summer Vs Winter

Indian Summers - for me , the lesser I say on that topic , the better it is. It seems like summers here just get hotter and hotter. There is no respite from the blistering heat. Also , where I live (which is close to the sea) , the weather is SO humid! It's like , you take a shower, step out of the house and BAM , you have to shower again once you're back because you're drenched in sweat , AGAIN.

Indian winters- these I love. I love all things winter. It's drier for one, and not mind numbingly chilly, in my opinion it's just right (bear in mind I'm talking about Kolkata- the city where I live) . Although honestly I like bone -shaking, body -shivering, mind-numbing cold as well.

So , referring to what I've written so far, I've compiled a post on my Summer look and what I would love to wear in the freezing winters( think  Alaskan).

Summer Picture- bag-flea market, shorts-Promod, Top- Mango, Shoes- Pooja Shroff
Winter Picture- Coat-Mango, Grey dress(worn below Coat)-Mango, Cap and Scarf- United Colors Of Benetton, Shoes- Hyde and Sole.

Leather Leather Everywhere

I've never really been that fond of leather. But this last dress that I purchased fit me so well and looked so great that I might have to change my mind about leather. In my previous post, you may have  noticed that I'm wearing a faux leather dress- even though its not the real deal, it's pretty close to it. Then I started noticing  biker leather jackets, leather shorts and skirts etc in the stores here.
Although I don't see myself turning into a leather addict or EVER wear leather jeggings or leggings ( for some reason I really , really despise them) , I do however see myself wearing a really nice pair of ankle booties , leather shorts or the biker jacket. I compiled a collage of the things I liked made of leather and here they are ..If you have any suggestions on how to make a look comprising of say , a leather dress more feminine, do let me know.

Hope you like :).

Faux Leather

I purchased this dress from Mango today and I couldn't wait to try it on. The look I've gone for is Urban meets rocker but I can think of so many other ways in which I can style this dress. You'll have to keep looking back here for more .Hope you like ! :)
